What are you up to RIGHT NOW? Enjoying your roast tea. Leisurely re-enacting that brilliant corner you took on your Sunday cycle. Recounting your time trial efforts to your loved ones in a blow by blow story that involves every pedal stroke? Perhaps that’s just my typical Sunday evening, I’m sure there are a million typical Sunday evenings, we’ve all got a ritual, something to ground us for the week ahead.

This time next week Velocity is very proud to be hosting Karen Darke. I don’t have the words to explain quite how much.

Karen is a Silver Medalist Olympian in Hand Cycling in London and on the road to Rio already. She will be talking about her story, about the Paralympics, her adventures {these also come without a suitably big word} and excitingly for the budding athletes among us, about Sports Psychology .
